EV Performance
When it comes to Chevrolet EV performance you can expect everything you’ve come to love from a gas-powered vehicle – but at a whole new level. Near-instant acceleration locks you into a whisper-quiet drive while cutting-edge tech lets you even power a home with your car’s battery.
EV Acceleration, EV Exhilaration
Your Chevy EV’s battery provides full power to the wheels the second you step on the pedal, giving near instant torque and acceleration. Like a light bulb, the engine doesn’t need to build up power; it just turns on instantly like when you flip a light switch. This results in mind-blowing EV acceleration. The joyride doesn’t end there; as the EV pack rests in the vehicle’s floor instead of under the hood, its center of gravity is lower – which means superior stability and handling compared to traditional gas-powered vehicles. Hug those turns with confidence.
Powerful Confidence
8-year/100,000-mile battery limited warranty
Power in Silence
The first thing you will probably notice about an EV is the quiet. An electric motor is nearly silent, even at full throttle, helping to create an appreciably calm cabin. Plus, with less components than gas-powered vehicles, there is less vibrating and shaking in an EV, giving you a smooth drive.
More Fun
Near-instant electric torque means more get-up-and-go.

EV Benefits
One of the biggest benefits of driving an EV is the low cost of owning one. You can benefit from tax and utility incentives that may be available, and Chevy EVs do not need regular oil changes which means fewer maintenance visits. Plus, with the convenience of home-charging, you are saving time and money you would be spending at the pump as gas stations become a thing of the past.
Incentives
You may qualify for tax and utility incentives with the purchase of an EV.
Federal tax incentives*
A purchaser of a qualified electric vehicle may qualify for a federal Qualified Clean Vehicle or Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicle income tax credit* of up to $7,500
State tax incentives*
Buying an EV may qualify you for state tax incentives based on where you live.
Utility benefits
Installing and using a home charger could qualify you for local incentives, including rebates and time-of-day pricing options. Check with your local provider for offers.
Lower Costs
Driving an EV could provide potential savings in yearly fuel costs.
Maintenance
No oil changes, fewer fluids to replace, reduced brake wear if you use One Pedal Driving* or Regen on Demand,™* and fewer moving parts in an EV engine mean less maintenance and more driving.
Time saved
When you charge your EV overnight, conveniently at home with an available Level 2 wall charger,* you can wake up to a fully charged vehicle. You can even save on your commute time in select states by using the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane.
Complete Care
With an 8-year/100,000-mile battery limited warranty,* 24/7 toll-free assistance for 8 years or 100,000 miles,* and your first maintenance visit covered* – you can hit the road with confidence.
More reasons to go electric
At Chevrolet, our vision is to create a world with zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion. That’s why we’re constantly working to design impactful technologies, materials and products for a more sustainable future.
- We’re committed to making our global products and operations carbon neutral by 2040.
- We strive to eliminate tailpipe emissions from new U.S. light-duty vehicles by 2035.
Reducing battery waste
Chevy designs battery packs that are easy to recycle. GM has also created Recycle My Battery, which informs dismantlers on how to disable, remove, store and ship used battery packs from our EVs. We’ve developed guidelines for the safe handling and transport of EV batteries by End of Life processors and work to recycle every possible material from every battery.
